What we Do
Our rescue mainly takes referrals from the council pounds, police, and social services rather than directly from the public. We do however help owners who are struggling or with ill health or fleeing domestic violence where we can.
Sadly, dogs needing rescue is never ending and our services are in huge demand, so much so that we have a waiting list of dogs to come into rescue.
Many of the Stafford’s that come into our care are badly neglected, and require a lot of love and care; some have very severe skin issues, such as demodex, that has been left untreated; some are so traumatised due to the abuse.
We spend a lot of time caring for the dogs from the minute they arrive in rescue; from veterinary care needed, to assessing and training, then finding their forever home.
The costs of our rescue work are many: all our dogs are vet checked fully vaccinated, neutered, dental, wormed, flea treated and given any other veterinary work that is need, we also fully assess our dogs before they are put up for rehoming.
They leave us with a rehoming pack and lifetime back up & support from the rescue.
